Kenneth N. Greenfield
Mr. Greenfield received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Political Science from the University of Arizona in 1978. He received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from California Western School of Law in 1982. In 1981, Mr. Greenfield was elected to serve as the Managing Editor of the California Western Law Review, and shortly thereafter, published the following article: Curlender v. Bio-Science Laboratories: California Grants A Cause of Action In Wrongful Life To The Severely Defective Infant Plaintiff. 18 California Western Law Review 270 (1982).
Mr. Greenfield has been a member of both the California State Bar and the San Diego County Bar Associations since 1982, and a past member of the Southern California Defense Lawyers Association, as well as the San Diego Defense Lawyers Association (having served as its president in 2008). He is also a member of the American Inns of Court, and is a member of the San Diego chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), having served as its President in 2017. He has been named on the list of “Super Lawyers” for the years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Mr. Greenfield was honored with the San Diego Defense Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” Award in 2013. He has been AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale Hubbell since 1988.
Mr. Greenfield is a trial lawyer specializing in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Greenfield is admitted to practice law in all of the courts of the State of California as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California. In addition to being actively engaged in civil trial practice, Mr. Greenfield has acted as an arbitrator for the San Diego County Superior Court.
